Appearance:
A Tokuno male standing 5 foot 8 inches tall, weighing 150-160 pounds. His head is clean shaven and has pearl black eyes.
Because of years working in mines, forest and at the forge, he is well developed in his physical stature. He is well tanned and has weathered skin, with numerous small cuts on his hands and for arms from working with wood, stone and metal. He walks with a soft confidence, and speaks in a low soft voice.
Work Description:
He performs his work as an artisan. He prefers to make one or two items of great quality then mass producing standard items. Yet even his mass produced items he made during the time of war still carried an artistic quality to them.
Personality:
He is generally a very happy person, smiling at anyone he meets. Some say he is too trusting to the point of gullibility, but this is not the case. He prefers peace and harmony and will avoid crowed places unless it’s in celebration or festival type atmosphere. He enjoys taverns that are low keyed and will only go to other types if accompanied by friends.
Background:
Born in Zanko, in Homare-Jima, he was the only child of his parents. His father, a legendary Smith and Mason, his mother a Tailor. At a very young as he started learn the ways of the forge and chisels. He took any opportunity to learn new things and skills.
His Father was hired by Lord Ikura Shimakaze to be the house craftsmen’s, he worked as one of his father’s assistances and learns his crafts, improving his skills each day. When his father died, he took over as chief crafter and continues his duties. When Lord Shimakaze house fell in disfavor with the royal house, Ta’Koo was given his contract and freedom. Upon return of House Shimakaze, he gave up his freedom and returned to service his former master. Because of this, the emperor has granted him title of Imperial Crafter.
